These are the images of the Mekong Red Dragon Rice packet. I am really pleased with how it worked out. It is a nice clean, simple design but i still think it is bold enought to stand out on a shelf.

Mekong Red Dragon Rice

Hey i am back from my travels to South America full of inspiration. I had been working on a project before i left for a Vietnamese company called Mekong Red Dragon Rice. I was asked to do the illustrations by an amazing Graphic Designer called Scott Lambert. I had to produce 4 illustrations that would show the story of how the rice is grown, transported and sold along the banks of the Mekong river. I decided to draw the images using lots of marks and lines. I also tried to make them look as bold as possibe as they had to stand out in order to make the product eye catching. I am really happy with the final result and hope to work on similiar projects in the future. The product is now available in Vietnames supermarkets, really cool to think i can see my work in Vietnam.
